The Moonstone Project
Welcome to The Moonstone Project, where we offer more than just accommodation; we provide a path to empowerment and independence for marginalized young women aged 18-55 fleeing gender-focused abuse. Our mission is to break the cycle of violence by offering safe living spaces and comprehensive life skills training.
At The Moonstone Project, we specialize in supporting women from BAMER communities who often face barriers to accessing traditional support services. Through our Moving Forward Life Skills program, residents engage in shared living while receiving personalized empowerment training. We understand that every journey is unique, which is why our program is tailored to each individual, focusing on healing, progression, and self-sufficiency.
Our holistic approach encompasses financial planning, emotional support, job training, parenting skills, education, and more. By fostering a supportive peer group environment, we provide a natural safety net where women can thrive and support each other as survivors.
Our goal is simple: to ensure that every woman who walks through our doors has the opportunity to build a brighter future, free from the cycle of abuse and dependency. If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, please reach out to us or download our housing form today. Together, we can break the cycle of violence and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
